About The Event
In this workshops the participants learn to craft their own leather medicine pouch, and in the process discover the different gifts we have and the ways we can carry them in our pouch.
A medicine pouch is a traditional amulet and power object that represents spiritually the person who uses it. Very well known and used by many indigenous cultures in the world. The motives to carry a medicine bag are: guidance, healing and protection.
On this day also in many indigenous cultures specially from south america is also known as the "Day of the Dead". Because at this time of the year, the veil between the spirit world and ours is very thin. It's a good opportunity to commemorate and honour our ancestors, the ancestors of this land we live on, and ask for their blessings.
Come learn how to make your own medicine bag and at the same time share your stories and your medicine with the group in a powerful space for heart connection and community.
Space limited for 12 people.
